This micro-credential supports the development of practical skills and knowledge in contemporary education. Throughout the programme you’ll focus on innovative pedagogies, the impact of digital tools on education, collaborative approaches to learning, and helping learners to develop 21st century digital skills and adapt to the future of work.
15 weeks of self-paced online learning including videos, quizzes and optional support sessions facilitated live on Zoom
The learning will primarily be self-paced and asynchronously online. Learners are provided with video material, course notes, relevant materials, quizzes, and questions for directed discussions. Self-directed learning includes readings, reflection, learner-initiated discussion and assessments.
For additional support, there are five optional live online sessions via Zoom (Week 1, Week 3, Week 6, Week 10 and Week 14)
Domestic (NZ student fees): $450 inc GST
International students: $1,500 inc GST

You will begin your study exploring the foundational elements of digital and collaborative learning, including contemporary pedagogies, collaboration, mindsets and innovative learning environments.
That will lead to your first assessment (summative) where you will demonstrate your understanding of these topics and begin to reflect on educational contexts.
Following this, you will continue to develop your knowledge of innovative approaches to digital and collaborative learning with more emphasis on how you might apply your learning and integrate digital tools in your current or future educational contexts.
At the end of the course, you will present on how you would apply the approaches
