Tech Futures Lab HQ in Grafton, Auckland is closed under Alert Level 4. All classes currently planned as face-to-face sessions will move to our live-online classes until further notice.
All our planned on-site in person classes have been moved to live-online sessions. Tech Futures Lab students have been sent an update via email and over the cohort Slack channels. If you haven’t received an update, please do get in touch with us – firstname.lastname@example.org
There won’t be any changes to scheduled class dates however there may be some changes to times and session lengths for optimal learning online. You will receive updates via email and your cohort Slack channel. Again, do get in touch with us if you have not heard from us.
We’ve got our fingers crossed we will still be able to proceed with a graduation ceremony on 10th and 11th September, 2021. However, alert level restrictions will impact the decision. If you have registered to graduate with Tech Futures Lab on either the 10th or 11th September, we’ll be in touch via email with updates.
For now, the options are:
If we’re in Level 3 or 4
Regrettably the graduation ceremony will be cancelled. Students will be given the option of graduating in absentia or at our next graduation ceremony (dates yet to be set).
If we’re in Level 2
Graduation will go ahead, however to ensure we can still proceed with the ceremonies on the day, you will only be able to bring one guest to the ceremony to ensure we are practicing the required level of social distancing and keep everyone as safe as possible.
If we’re in Level 1
Graduation will go ahead as planned.
We’ll keep in touch over email and your cohort Slack channel with further updates to give you enough time to plan ahead.
All our events will be hosted online through Zoom. If you’ve registered for an event with us, you’ll receive a reminder email closer to the time with the Zoom meeting link. All other events will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Lab HQ might be closed, but we’re virtually open. Send us an email to email@example.com if you’re interested to find out more about our qualifications and short courses that prepare New Zealanders and New Zealand business to thrive and move forward in changing, disruptive environments.
