An immersive 32-week programme designed by professionals, for professionals. It will help you identify how digital technologies and societal shifts are transforming business models and changing what ‘value’ means. You will:

Who is this programme for?

The Postgraduate Certificate in Human Potential for the Digital Economy is for professionals and big thinkers who want to stimulate and energise their outlook for the future. It’s both personal and professional development designed to give you the tools, knowledge and confidence to take full advantage of what the digital economy offers in a way that is meaningful and purpose-driven.

This programme is for you if you:

  • See potential for reinvention in your workplace or industry and want to play a strategic role in that change

  • Want to leverage technologies to realise human potential

The Postgraduate Certificate in Human Potential for the Digital Economy will develop transferable skills critical to a changing business landscape.

Programme Details

This programme is available to study part-time only and is delivered in a Blended Learning model with weekly live-online class sessions and four full-day workshops over the course of the programme. See the Key Dates section below for more detail.

A total time commitment of 16-20 hours per week comprising:

  •  2 hour weekly live-online sessions (except for weeks with full-day workshop) 
  • 14-18 hours of self-directed independent study

The four full-day face-to-face workshops will be held on-site at Tech Futures Lab, 99 Khyber Pass Road, Grafton, Auckland.

The full tuition fee for the Postgraduate Certificate in Human Potential for the Digital Economy programme is $5,980 (incl. GST)

We offer a 10% early bird discount for enrolments received 4 weeks prior to the programme start date. See key dates above for details.

StudyLink loans are available. Depending on your study history, you may be eligible for the Government’s Fees Free scheme. 

Entry requirements

We value industry and real-world experience as much as an academic record. You don’t need specific technical ability but you must demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Places are offered in order of enrolment. The programme is only available to candidates who qualify as domestic students (NZ and Australian citizens and permanent residents).

You’ll need one of the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification (or higher) AND a minimum of two years’ work experience in a field impacted by the digital economy.
  • Have at least four years of professional experience in a relevant industry or community demonstrating equivalence or higher to the qualification stated above.

To make sure you’ll gain what you want out of this programme, you’ll need to provide a Statement of Intent as part of the enrolment process. You can do this by letter or video.
